As a Weekend Care Assistant, you’ll become an important part of someone’s weekend routine, providing practical support, companionship and personal care while building meaningful relationships with the people you visit.
You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team, with full training, ongoing support and everything you need to feel confident in your role.
What will you be doing? Every visit is different, but your role may include:

Companionship and emotional support Companionship is a really important part of the role. Sometimes, simply having someone there to talk to can make a real difference to someone’s day.
Travelling between visits You will drive between people’s homes throughout the local area, so a full driving licence and your own reliable vehicle are essential.
Why work for ND Care & Support? Care work can be challenging, so we believe you should feel supported and rewarded for the difference you make.
