A full UK Driving License and access to your own car is desirable but not essential for this role.

About The Role:

At ND Care & Support, we are thrilled to offer an opportunity to support a young lady to live as independently as possible in her own home. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about making a real difference and building a positive, supportive relationship.

What We Offer:

• Get Rewarded – Complete 100 hours and receive a special incentive payment of £250 as recognition for your commitment and hard work.
• Enhanced DBS Reimbursed – Complete 50 hours and we’ll refund the cost of your DBS check (unless you already have a DBS on the Update Service).
• 5-day training programme provided before you start work with us
• We will cover the cost of your Social Care Wales registration fee (We will reimburse you once you have worked for us for more than four weeks).
• We will cover the cost of your Blue Light Card (We will reimburse you for the Blue Light Card fee on proof of purchase).

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need:

• To be caring and patient with the ability to build positive, supportive relationships
• Have a person-centered approach to care and support
• Have flexibility to work long shifts, afternoons and nights. Shifts and hours to be discussed at interview
• Support and enable community access, encouraging participation in activities if desired
• Offer positive reassurance when needed, while allowing appropriate space and independence
• Support with domestic duties within the home, including, but not limited to, helping with meals, tidying, cooking, maintaining a comfortable living environment and helping with finances.
• To be comfortable around pets
