Job Description
Are you someone who finds purpose in helping others? At ND Care & Support, we’re looking for caring, dependable, and dedicated individuals in the Bridgend area interested in part-time afternoon/evening roles — perfect if you want to make a meaningful impact while maintaining flexibility.
Whether you’re an experienced Carer or exploring a fresh, rewarding career path, we’ll support you every step of the way with full training, ongoing development, and a team that genuinely values your contribution.
As a registered provider with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW), we’re proud of our reputation for delivering exceptional, person-centred care — thanks to our incredible team of Carers. Join a workplace that’s professional, welcoming, and fully committed to your success.
If you’re ready to build a career where you’re respected, supported, and inspired every day — we’d love to hear from you.
AboutThe Role:
Personal Care: Assisting clients with everyday tasks like bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Medication Assistance: Helping clients manage their medication as needed.
Food Preparation: Supporting clients with meal preparation to ensure they’re eating healthily.
Light Domestic Tasks: Helping with cleaning, laundry, and tidying up around the home.
Companionship & Emotional Support: Offering a caring presence to make clients feel valued and supported.
Driving Between Clients: A full UK Driving license or an international driving license and your own car are required.
Commitment to a Two-Week Roster:
As part of our dedicated care team, you’ll follow a structured two-week rota, offering stability for both you and those you support. This consistent schedule helps promote a healthy work-life balance while allowing you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Please note: This rota includes working every other weekend, ensuring fair and manageable coverage across the team.
What We Offer:
Competitive Pay: £14.12 per hour on weekdays, £14.68 per hour on weekends (please note, this rate includes your rolled-up holiday pay).
Flexible Hours: Choose from full-time or part-time positions that suit your schedule, offering the perfect balance between work and life.
Mileage & Travel Pay: Get reimbursed for travel expenses, including 25p per mile, so you’re compensated for being on the road. Paid waiting time up to 29 minutes (at national minimum wage).

Paid Full Visits: We value your time, which is why we ensure you’re paid for the entire duration of each visit, not just the care time.
Free PPE & Uniforms: We’ve got you covered with free uniforms and PPE for your safety and comfort.
Comprehensive Training & Ongoing Support: We provide full induction training and ongoing support to ensure you feel fully prepared in your role. (Paid at national minimum wage during your 5-day induction and after 100 hours worked.)
Above all, we’re looking for kind-hearted, compassionate individuals who are reliable, supportive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make a difference. If that sounds like you, we’d love to welcome you to the ND Care & Support family.
