ND Care and Support Carmarthenshire are currently our most westerly office in Wales. The team work to support service users over the age of 18 and these individuals may have additional learning needs, physical disability, mental health challenges, dementia and Alzheimers. They liaise with the clients and their families directly, local authorities, the NHS and a number of key agencies to prescribe bespoke care packages for individuals.
Carers who work for the team take responsibility for personal care, medication assistance, community and domestic support.

We cover the following areas: Llanelli, Hendy, Pontarddulais, Llangenech, Kidwelly, Burry Port, Pontyberem, Tumble, Trimsaran, Penymyndd, Crosshands, Ammanford, Capel Hendre, Penygroes, Maesybont, Carmel, Llandybie, Glanamman, Garnant and Brynamman.
We recruit for the following positions: Support Workers, Carers, Senior Support Workers, Senior Carers, office staff – co-ordinators etc.
- Cross Hands Public Hall is one of only three of its kind in Wales. Erected in 1920, it is a grade 2 listed art deco building with a fully functioning stage and cinema.
- The National Botanical Gardens of Wales are located in Carmarthenshire and visited by guests every day of the year apart from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
- Amelia Mary Earhart – the first female to fly the Atlantic ended her flight in Carmarthenshire.
