New Directions is currently seeking Specialist Care Support Workers in Cardiff.

As a Specialist Care Support Worker, you will play an important role in the community. You will ensure our service users can live as independently as possible in the comfort of their own home.

Who are we?

Since 2010 ND Care & Support have provided a range of bespoke domiciliary care services for children, young adults, adults and older people throughout Wales. We are a registered member of the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW).

About the role:

• Supporting with personal care to promote well being
• Supporting with medication.
• Food preparation and support with a health balanced diet
• Light domestic tasks (laundry, cleaning etc.)
• Companionship
• Shopping

What you’ll receive:

As a Specialist Care Support Worker with ND Care & Support, your hard work and commitment will be rewarded in many ways:

• New starter bonus.
• Full time hours and set shifts.
• £12.00 weekdays
• £12.50 per hour on weekends.
• Full visits/calls paid, not minute by minute.
• 2 weekends off per month.

You will need to have:

• A full driving license, or be able to commute independently.
• Commit to 12-hour shifts (Day and/or Night)
• Be aged over 18.

Previous experience in the care sector would be advantageous but isn't essential as we provide full training and support to all our staff, including a comprehensive induction.
