Services for our Staff
ND Care & Support is embedded within the care sector. Working within this community means that we truly understand the importance of the job our carers do. To ensure that our team are able to deliver the best possible care, we are committed to providing them with training and support of the highest standard.
Our Carers are assigned a dedicated Care Co-ordinator who works with them to ensure that they are provided with appropriate continuous work. Care Co-ordinators will be on hand to offer advice and support through supervision sessions every four months, enabling them to identify and provide feedback, and ensuring that staff are confident within their roles.
Care Co-ordinators will also provide information on relevant training courses for our staff. Our courses range from First Aid and the All Wales Passport for Manual Handling, to more specialist courses including Dementia Awareness and Confrontation Management.
ND Care & Support recognises the importance of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) for all employees. For this reason, we support all staff in undertaking QCF (NVQ) Level 2 and level 3 in Care.
