Job Specification

As a member of our Home Care team, you will;

  • Support our Service Users to remain independent in their own homes
  • Join an experienced team
  • Have regular, yet flexible work around your current commitments
  • Receive support to obtain your registered Care Worker status
  • Have support from a dedicated Care Co-ordinator

What you’ll receive:

  • New starter bonus
  • Paid mileage, travel and waiting time
  • Full time / Par time hours and set shifts
  • £9 per hour, increasing if Social Care Wales registered
  • £10 per hour on weekends
  • Full visits/calls paid, not minute by minute
  • 2 weekends off per month

You will need to:

  • Have a full driving license
  • Have access to your own vehicle
  • Travel within the community to provide care
  • Commit to weekly shifts (e.g 06:45-15:00 & 16:30-22:30)
  • Be aged over 18

Your role:

No 2 days will ever be the same because we are working with our Service Users to support them to live their fullest life, and are lead by their care needs. Your role will be varied and wide reaching; Some Service Users will require support with washing and bathing, and others may need support with meal preparation or their medication. From supporting with morning routines to sharing a story or a crossword, as a Care Assistant you definitely wont be bored.

About you:

Previous experience in the care sector would be advantageous but isn’t essential as we provide full training and support to all of our staff, including a comprehensive induction.

You must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, be kind, compassionate and committed to delivering the very best level of care. If this is you, we would love to hear from you!
